Varied appointment durations at any time of the day The PPS Appointments Diary looks and works like a desktop appointments book. You can flick forwards and backwards through the days and weeks, or jump straight to a specific date. |

You can search for free appointment slots for any time of day, or day of the week, with a selected or any practitioner. |
The diary can be customised week by week if required to show the exact appointment slots available. |
You can even vary the appointment duration for any part of any day of the week. For each appointment slot you can also specify a Description, Location and Treatment Room. This is useful if you work at different locations during the week. You can choose from more than 20 different view styles to suit your needs. |
This flexibility enables you to use the diary in a way that best suits how you like to work. You can choose between a real "diary" type display, or an appointment "list" type display. |
You can also select to view the diary for a selected practitioner, or for all my practitioners. You can even view all practitioners for a whole week if required. You can use the diary to make single or repeat appointments. From any appointment you can display all your clients details. The PPS Task Bar lets you send letters and e-mails directly to your client. You can also raise charges and invoices from the diary with a single click! You can use the diary to book events as well as individual appointments. For example, you can book an event when you are running clinics where more than one client attends. The diary also includes a holding list. You can use this to hold clients who may be waiting for an appointment cancellation, or perhaps waiting for you to schedule a certain clinic session. You can block out appointments, even the whole day if required without the need to change your diary set up. You can record special dates in your diary such as bank holidays and birthdays. The appointments diary can also be printed in a variety of formats. You can keep a printed copy on your desk as a reminder of your day’s appointments. |
In addition to the diary, PPS includes a “daily appointments” screen. You can use this screen to progress all my appointments for the day including making clinical notes, raising charges, invoices and payments. You can use PPS on the computer network in your practice so you can immediately see from your treatment room that your receptionist has indicated that your next client has arrived. |
PPS Goes Mobile! |
| You can also synchronise your appointments with your handheld/PDA/smartphone. PPS will sync your selected appointments directly with MS Outlook on your PC, where Microsoft ActiveSync (or other software that comes with your device) will look after synchronising the appointment details with your hand-held device as it does already for your existing MS Outlook calendar. | |
